Caring Adoptions’ adoption orientations are presented free of charge to prospective Adoptive Parents.
The Adoption 101 orientation is a great class where you get to learn all about adoption and decide if it is a right fit for you and your family. At this class we explore the process as a whole, what it takes to adopt and what Caring Adoptions has to offer. It will give you insight into the requirements, home study process, the financial aspects, how we match birthparents to families, and the legalities of adoption. We also discuss what happens after placement and answer any questions you have about the adoption journey.
Attendance at these sessions is limited so that you have the opportunity to ask questions, hear questions from others attending that you possibly did not think of, and meet some of our staff.
The orientations usually alternate between the first Tuesday and first Saturday of each month and are held in our offices. Tuesday orientations are held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturday orientations are held from 10am to 12pm. Reservations are requested and may be made by contacting us.
